We have many reports for which we save the data summary worksheet as an HTML report. We use the XLRweb portal to view these HTML reports. However, there are occasions when we would like to download the Excel report from XLRweb. The web tool has a convenient button to perform the download. However, this button is not available when viewing reports in HTLM mode. The user has to alter the XLRweb user preferences to "View/Download Excel Files" in order to have the download button available. It would be much more convenient to download directly when configured to view reports as HTML.
