I want the operators to be able to hear the alarm description and acknowledge the alarms, nothing else.

It would also be helpful if reports are enabled that the menu system will stop talking and go to the selected menu option when the user makes a selection. Instead of forcing the user to listen to all menu options before proceeding to the selection. This ability existed in V7 and I'm not sure why it was abandoned.
