It would be helpful to be able to create an apply formats per notification policy or even by alert type. We want to make the alert formats very descriptive, but it is difficult to find a one size fits all approach when we have varied alert types.
Also, it would be helpful to be able to apply these by the notification policy instead of by user, or by another method. We want to include different information for different types of alarms, but the user is stuck with one type of alert for all different alarms that they receive.
An advanced format can include conditional logic; you could switch on the NP name or any other alarm event attribute and format the output one way or another. The WIN-911 support team can help you construct such a format.
