When our system dials out for a notification it asks the user to enter their ID before it voices the active alarms. Unless the user skips the messages or acknowledges them the system marks this down as a failed event. This is not correct. As soon as the user identifies themselves by entering their access code the notification call becomes a success. The system has contacted the intended user. What happenss after that has nothing to do with a successful contact call. We always call at least two users to respond after hours for safety reasons so the users just hang up when they get a call so the system will continue to call out and contact the other user.
