When you observe some type of malfunctioning on Win911 software, it becomes absolutely essential to see how the signal/value is transferred in real time within components of the software. This will allow the integrator and the support engineer to quickly figure out where the issue is located. Wonderware has very neat tool called ObjectViewer and another one called System Management Console. Both these tools provide REAL TIME information about the status and values for plurality runtime components. With these tools becomes extremely easy to figure out where the issue resides. Win911 software needs to have such tool to peak and browse values inside the runtime system.
Thank you for the feedback Uri.
We have plans to implement a Health/Status module that will expose the status of WIN-911 modules through an easy to consume interface, we're currently thinking of using OPC UA. I'd like to better understand your use case to be sure we're addressing your concerns before we get started on this project, do you have time for a quick discussion?
